Sikkens Cetol Filter 7 Plus
Cetol Filter 7 Plus is a durable, solvent-borne woodstain that provides a highly translucent, semi-gloss finish and offers outstanding protection from the damaging effects of sunlight.
Translucent varnish for enhancing and protecting exterior softwood and hardwood joinery windows and doors. Not suitable for decking or other areas subject to high levels of abrasion.
Sikkens Cetol Filter 7 plus is a highly durable, medium build, solvent-borne woodstain that offers outstanding protection from the damaging effects of sunlight on exterior wood. The semi-gloss finish is highly translucent allowing the beauty of woodgrain to shine through.
Cetol Filter 7 plus is microporous and water-repellent and with its excellent resistance to UV radiation supports a five-year maintenance cycle on exterior softwood and hardwood joinery, windows and doors.
Execution:
- New/ bare wood: Two coats onto Cetol HLS plus.
- Maintenance: Two coats. When using white or pale colours on resinous/ knotty softwood and coloured hardwood, an initial coat of Cetol BL Primer is recommended.
- Base stain: Cetol HLS plus should be used as a basestain for joinery items prior to coating with Cetol Filter 7 plus.
