BundGuard® ORS - Dewatering Solution

Bund dewatering solution comprising of control panel, submersible dual-pump assembly and sensor unit.

The upper pump removes excessive oil from the surface of the sump fluid, pumping the oil to an intermediate bulk container (IBC). A non-return valve in the oil pump prevents oil returning to the sump. The lower pump operates independently, removing excess rainwater from the sump, discriminating water from oil, maintaining the required 110% capacity of the bund.

The control panel automatically activates and deactivates the pumps, manages visual indicators and alarm outputs, and the LCD display and LED indicators show system status at all times.

A float switch, attached to the IBC where the oil is being stored, will trigger an alarm and instantly disable the oil pump when the vessel is full. The control panel sends a simultaneous alarm to the building management system (BMS) or equivalent so that action can be taken promptly.

Includes FilterSepta®, a secondary containment safeguard for sites where extra caution is required, and is recommended for environmentally critical sites. FilterSepta® is an above-ground interceptor and filter unit that guarantees a Class 1 discharge of water from the bund to surface water, adhering to EN 858-1:2002. FilterSepta® eliminates the need for costly underground interceptor or separator tanks to be installed and maintained and is ideal for both retrofit and new installations.
