Brazed Packaged PHE with Thermal Store - 80°C - Plate Heat Exchanger with Thermal Store

Thermal stores are available in a range of outputs from 56 kW to 231 kW (based on a primary temperature of 80℃).

The Brazed PHEs are coupled to thermal storage vessels with nominal capacities of 300, 500, 800 and 1000 litres. The vessels are manufactured from 316 grade stainless steel, fully insulated with rigid polyurethane foam - enclosed in a durable P.V.C. zip on cover. The Plate Heat Exchangers have very high outputs and low water content making them suitable for use in systems requiring high DHW outputs, fast vessel recovery with varying heat loads.

The thermal store allows for those high peaks which occur at various times, without the need for increased boiler capacity. All units are designed to operate up to a maximum primary operating temperature of 90°C and up to a maximum primary pressure of 8 barG.

All BB units consist of a brazed plate heat exchanger “kit” which has to be assembled on site by the installation team onto a stainless steel thermal storage vessel. This kit form is necessary for safe and efficient transport of the unit from factory to point of installation.
