Description

Antimicrobial, hygienic wall cladding system using rigid, solid, extruded PVC-U using technology. Utilizing a range of antimicrobial ancillaries and adhesives to meet all UK, EU and global hygiene, fire and building regulations.

Silver ions are incorporated into the bulk of the PVC mixture before the extrusion process and improve the already existing antimicrobial activity of rigid PVC sheet. A distinctive surface treatment ensures the essential ingredient remains 100% active for the lifetime of the product.

Independent tests confirm that Elite Sterling products effectively eliminate harmful microorganisms including MRSA, E. coli and Salmonella within 24 hours. The antibacterial active ingredient provides dual biostatic and biocidal action and is 99.9% effective in actively killing bacteria on the sheet.

Elite Sterling has been proven to reduce SARS-CoV-2 (the virus which causes covid-19) on surfaces. Testing to ISO 21702:2019 has shown a reduction of more than 96% after 6 hours when compared to a control, and more than 98.5% after 24 hours.
