Belgravia suspended gypsum ceiling tiles are exceptionally easy to mount and demount making them ideal for use in buildings requiring a recessed grid for easy maintenance and servicing of installations.

A classic, robust gypsum acoustic ceiling tile with a recessed grid, high acoustic performance and top indoor comfort.

  • For sizes up to 625 x 625 not in tangent perforation, units of up to 3 k.g. can be installed directly into the panel without reinforcement.
  • For larger module sizes and all sizes with tangent perforation a reinforcement panel of sufficient strength can be installed behind the tile. The reinforcement panel must extend all the way into the main runners, so that the weight is transferred to them.
  • The total weight should not be greater than 3 k.g. for each m² of ceiling. Where loads are greater than 3 k.g./m², additional hangers must be used.
  • Units over 3 k.g., should be installed independently, so that they do not place any load on the ceiling.

  • Suspension hangers: Knauf 25 x 25 mm.
  • Angle section at 1200 mm centres (first angle maximum 400 mm from wall). Primary support channel: Knauf 38 mm deep 15 T-grid primary runner at 1200 mm centres (first runner maximum 600 mm from wall).
  • Cross tees: Knauf 38 mm deep 15 T-grid cross tees at 600 mm centres (cross ties available in 1200 mm and 600 mm lengths).
  • Perimeter channel: Use Knauf 20 x 24 mm wall angle or Knauf MS15 shadow line trim (creating 15 mm shadow gap) fixed at 300 mm centres.
