Description

The Gtiles system is a suspended ceiling system that combines gypsum tiles (PVC, Echo, Sanitile) and specific framing components made of T-grids and other accessories to cover all electrical and mechanical ductwork including HVAC, fire and smoke detectors and lighting. Please note: Bracing is required for certain seismic categories; consult the manufacturer for further details.

Gtiles™ Echo R1 has a sound absorption coefficient of up to 0.78. The perforations are spaced at 20 mm centre to centre.

Gtiles™ Echo S1 has a sound absorption coefficient of up to 0.75. The perforations are spaced at 20 mm centre to centre.

Staggered,12 and 20 mm.

Gtiles™ Echo R2 has a sound absorption coefficient of up to 0.79. The perforations are spaced at 33 mm centre to centre.

Manufacturer guidance

An acoustical fleece is attached to the backside of the tiles for sound absorption and diffusion.


Mineral wool insulation fitted at the back of a ceiling system allows for better thermal insulation and sound absorption. Consult manufacturer for details including thickness and performance characteristics (fire resistance, acoustics etc.).
