Manual aluminium framed bi-parting door system with doors sliding over glazed panels. Door and sliding track mechanism are severe duty with low opening and closing forces so are easily opened by hand
The doorset is formed from non-thermal aluminium extruded box section and includes a "goal post" frame consisting of two jambs (100x45mm profiles) and a 125x100mm integral transom bar. The frame fits within the structural opening with each door sliding over a glazed screen. The fixed glazed screens offer additional support to the frame and are secured by two concealed aluminium channels.
The doors and panels are formed from various 100mm x 47mm aluminium profiles. The doors are prepared with concealed bottom channels to operate with floor mounted nylon guides. The aluminium profiles will accept various glazing options including integral blinds and switchable glass.Stainless steel carriers connect the doors to a "low friction" recirculating bearing system sliding in an aluminium track. "Damper" mechanisms (not self or soft closing) are active when the doors are at the closed and fully open positions. The pelmet conceals the track and has a "hold open" lid for ease of maintenance.
