ASF Belvoir 2 Rail Recycled Cast Iron Post and Rail System

The ASF Belvoir posts are manufactured in 100% recycled cast iron, made from in house returns and used vehicle brake discs.

• This 2 rail system can be manufactured to suit any requirement and can negotiate slopes, curves, corners and steps.
• Posts can be root fixed, bolt down or to any bespoke fixing requirement, including side mounting.
• Gates and other access points can be incorporated.
• Coats of arms, logos and lettering can be added.
• All ASF post and rail systems can have LED lighting integrated into the system for both tactical and decorative lighting.
• The posts themselves are strong enough to meet any loading requirement up to and including 3kN - the only consideration is the post centres required to achieve the relevant loading.
• ASF can supply loading calculations with any post and rail or post and panel system.
• The system can be strengthened further to make it ram raid resistant by using reinforced rails and manufacturing the posts in certified SG iron grades, potentially making the posts so strong their inherent strength is only bettered by tungsten!
• Cast iron posts do not rust in the same way steel does. Even if left unpainted they are expected to last in excess of 100years with no noticeable reduction in performance.
• If paint finished and maintained with a simple schedule, the post's lifespan is essentially everlasting.
• Post and Rail/Panel can be finished in any RAL or BS colour, to any available gloss level.
• Posts can be supplied in their 2 rail setup as drawn, or be adapted to accept guardrail panels, mesh, bespoke profiled panels, glass panelling, additional rails of any practical diameter, or any combination of these.
• Rails are usually supplied galvanised or from pre galvanised tube depending on the needs of the client.
• Rail connections are usually planned to happen within the body of the posts, and via mechanically fixed internal sleeves or splice connectors, so that even the longest run appears as a single length of rail
• Posts can be supplied as intermediate, end posts, corners or for any specific angle of directional change.
