ASF 105 Recycled Cast Iron Bollard - Cast Iron Bollard

This classic design is often considered to be at the very birth of bollards and street furniture as we know it, with examples around the world of old cannon muzzles being cast into the ground with a cannonball fixed into the top with bitumen. For the last 8-10 decades this has been made into a stylised pattern celebrating those early cannons. The 'cannon' bollard has become a brand in itself and as such has an array of uses.

Bollards are supplied in 100% recycled, engineering grade 250 cast iron as standard - which is already super strong due to the sheer mass of the material, but can also be manufactured in any grade of SG Ductile Iron making these bollards stronger than any other metal besides tungsten!

Bollards can be manufactured in aluminium so that they can be supplied with a socket and be lifted out and made removable. We could also manufacture a ground trough to host these bollards as a folding bollard that is below ground level when retracted.

Bollards can be adapted to form heavy duty railings - as post and rail or post and panel systems, and can be adapted to become heavy duty gateposts for standalone projects or to match any railings system we are working with.

LED luminaires can also be incorporated to convert these bollards to lighting bollards, and ASF can offer this lighting to any standard - be it task lighting and part of a lighting plan, or as decorative lighting where aesthetics are the aim.

Bollards can have coats of arms, logos or lettering added.
