Application

Suitability

Suitable for seamless internal application to walls and ceilings.
Suitable for well ventilated areas exposed to moisture, but not suitable as a waterproof finish.
Can be applied directly to any stable, firm substrate that is ready for decoration such as plastered or rendered masonry (block, brick or concrete), taped and skimmed boards such as plasterboard and GRG (glassfibre reinforced gypsum), plasterboard surfaces prepared with Armourcoat Anti Crack skim coat, single sheet 18 mm primed MDF.
Substrate must adhere to a tolerance of +- 1 mm/600 mm or +-3 mm/1800 mm.
Suitable for existing painted walls and ceilings provided the paint is well-adhered to the substrate.
Not suitable for papered surfaces.
Also available on pre-manufactured, ready to hang panels.

Materials and number of coats:

Plasterboard substrates to be prepared with gypsum skim coat and sealer or taped, jointed and sealed by others.
On unprepared plasterboard: Armourcoat AntiCrack skim coat plaster (typically 3–5 mm) applied by trowel.
System build-up comprising four-five coats (approximate total thickness ~1 mm).

Description

Vuiltoli is a natural lime and marble polished plaster with an intricate mosaic pattern of overlapping circles, petals and diamonds. The finely detailed surface is highlighted by a blackened bronze pearlescent wax. It is a superfine, mid-sheen finish with a non-directional pattern for use on interior walls.

It is water vapour-permeable and is suitable for traditional plastered masonry, including historic buildings.

It comes with Eco Pearl applied as standard for increased protection against soiling.

It is also available to be used as a system with Armourcoat® AntiCrack reinforced gypsum skim coat. Please see specification data for more details.

Suitable for use with Armourcoat Anticrack, a reinforced gypsum skim-coat plaster which resists cracking at board joints and significantly improves impact resistance and durability of plasterboard construction. AntiCrack is a preparatory product that removes the need to use a gypsum skimcoat or tape and joint unprepared plasterboard walls.
