A durable, hygienic and aesthetic water-based decorative wall coating with a soft touch suede feel.
Application
Hygienic wall coating suitable for:
- Seamless internal application to walls, columns, and ceilings.
- Well ventilated areas exposed to moisture, but not suitable as a waterproof finish.
- Application directly to any stable, firm substrate that is ready for decoration. Block, brick or concrete should be gypsum bonded, gypsum skimmed, then sealed. Plasterboard or GRG should be taped, gypsum skimmed and sealed. 18mm MR MDF should be prepared with a suitable water-based paint primer/sealer on all faces.
- Existing painted walls and ceilings provided the paint is well-adhered to the substrate.
- Available on pre-manufactured, ready to hang panels.
Materials and number of coats:
- System build-up comprising three-four coats (approximate total 0.5mm).
Description
Armourcoat Tactite is an exceptionally hardwearing and easy to clean hygienic water-based wall coating. It is stain resistant, antibacterial and mould and mildew resistant. It has a soft touch, suede feel to create warm and inviting interiors.
Product attributes:
- Low VOC content ISO 11890-2: 5.5.
- Fire rated to ASTM E84: Class A
- Wet scrub resistance to ASTM D2486: 1150 to 1925 cycles, ISO 2812: Class 2
- Mould and mildew resistance to ASTM D 3273 and ASTM D 3274: 10/ 10/ 10.
- Anti-fungal and anti-algal growth.
- Anti-bacterial.
- Embodied carbon: 0.24kg CO2e/m2 (A1-A3).
- Optional Clearseal Gloss protective sealer for additional abrasion resistance.
