ApertureFR is BRoof(T4) compliant, comprising a cold-applied roof covering system with five component parts: Densdeck roof board base layer; Alutrix vapour control layer; Rockwool Hardrock insulation layer; Densdeck roof board layer; Plastisol coated metal carrier membrane, and Aperture cold-applied waterproof membrane layer, BBA certified.

Recyclability | Individual components within the overall system specification hold variable scales of recyclability. For example, Rockwool insulation boards can be recycled into new Rockwool products with minimal to no loss in quality. Denseck roof boards contain a core primarily composed of gypsum, which can be recycled in specialist facilities. Fabricated metal sheets can also be recycled, however the plastisol coating may add a layer of complexity, requiring specialist treatment prior to recycling. Please refer to the product data sheets and speak to your individual waste management facilitator for specialist advice as new waste treatment methods continue to develop. |
