Description

The open architecture of Aperio™ provides a convenient way of connecting with most access control systems via RS485 or Wiegand interface. The components communicate via an encrypted wireless link to a communication hub that is wired directly to the system. Available with online and offline standalone components, proximity access cards are not included.

Features:

  • For connection to EAC system via RS485 bus (addressable) or Wiegand interface.
  • Encrypted radio communication.
  • Communication from hub via RS485 bus to the Online Access Control System (addressable) - access decision in the EAC system.
  • Possibility to store up to 10 emergency cards (only used in case of disconnection from the hub).

Escutcheons:

- All versions:

  • Size (h x w x d): 312 x 41 x 10/20 mm.
  • Finish: Brushed stainless steel.
  • Main electronics (RFID + radio) outside, security-relevant electronics inside.
  • Access decision is made by the Aperio™ escutcheon based on access data on card - written via EAC system updater.

- Aperio™ PINpad Escutcheon PINpad:

  • PINpad: 4–8 digit code and a temporary PIN function. Can also incorporate a duress code where the card is used as usual and a special PIN generates a silent alert.
  • Authentication: Three levels of authentication (PIN only, card only, PIN and card combined).

Cylinders:

  • Main electronics (RFID + radio) in the outside knob - secure electronics inside cylinder core.
  • Freely rotating lock cam.
  • Finish: Brass cylinder with standard finish satin nickel-plated (NP) (Euro profile), or stainless steel (RFL) (Scandinavian profile).

Wireless High Security Lock:

  • Outside handle controlled by electronics - Inside handle always engaged (request to exit sensor included).
  • Integrated sensors for bolt and door position, mechanical key override.
  • Main electronics inside - Reader element outside including emergency battery connector and indication LED's.

Escutcheon type:

Profile:

  • Euro profile: Can be used with all European (DIN) mortice locks, in wooden, steel and tubular-frame doors.
  • Scandinavian profile: Can be used with all Scandinavian mortice locks, in wooden, steel and tubular-frame doors.
