Ancon Non-Drill Steelwork Fixings

A range of fixings designed to eliminate the dangers associated with shot-firing and drilling. Fixings either abut the column or attach to the steel flange.

Non-drill fixings:

- Internal Column Tie:

• Available in seven different lengths: 179 mm, 186 mm, 224 mm, 232 mm, 275 mm, 281 mm and 330 mm.
• Ties fit between the flanges on steel columns and should be installed at 225 mm vertical centres.
• Internal column ties exceed the requirements for a type 2 tie to PD 6697.
• CE Marked.

- Non-Standard Internal Column Tie:

• Special internal column ties can be designed to suit applications where the masonry does not sit inside the column flanges.

- New Briclok A Ties:

• Briclok A ties are designed to fit onto a column flange and can be used either across the cavity or back into the inner leaf.
• The tie should be positioned with the appropriate notch around the flange and installed at 225 mm vertical centres
• Designed for steel thickness from 6.8–13.5 mm and available in two lengths (150 and 180 mm) to suit cavities 20–80 mm.
• CE Marked.

- New Briclok B:

• Briclok B ties are designed to fit onto a column flange and can be used either across the cavity or back into the inner leaf.
• The tie should be positioned with the appropriate notch around the flange and installed at 225 mm vertical centres
• Designed for steel thickness from 13.5–20 mm and available in two lengths (150 and 180 mm) to suit cavities 20–80 mm.
• CE Marked.

- Column Tie (Seven sizes):

• Column ties clamp to the flange of a column.
• The tie can accommodate a steel thickness from 6–25 mm and should be installed at 225 mm vertical centres.
• Ties are available with either a plain shank or with a drip.
• Manufactured in lengths to suit the application.
• CE Marked.
