Description

Thermally broken aluminium lift and slide door.


Features and benefits:

  • Can be assembled in two, three and four panel configurations including fixed lights and sliding doors.
  • Aluminium profiles are extruded in accordance with BS EN 12020, and are manufactured from grade 6060/6063 T6 aluminium.
  • Compliant with ADL1/ ADL2 capable of achieving U-values of 1.5 W/m²K, dependent upon combined glass centre pane and window area weighted average offsets.
  • A variety of powder coated colours are available in accordance with BS 6496 and BS EN 12206-1:2004.
  • Powder coating is applied to a Qualicoat standard, utilizing an inline flash anodizing pre-treatment process, with the polyester powder coating applied within 30 minutes of the flash anodizing process to ensure suitable adhesion.
  • Doors can be dual coloured, textured or have an anodized finish.

Glass look-a-like panels incorporating two panes of minimum 6 mm-thick glass, with a 16 mm argon gas filled cavity and ceramic painted internal face with foil backed insulation to achieve a maximum 0.35 W/m²K centre pane. Exposed internal faces of insulation incorporate an internal polyester powder coated aluminium tray backing.

Insulating glass units incorporating a clear low emissivity inner pane and a clear outer pane with an argon gas filled cavity and 'warm edge' spacer bar to achieve a maximum centre pane U-value of 1.0 W/m²K. All glass within 800 mm from FFL should be toughened or laminated (within 1500 mm from FFL if within 300 mm of a door).

8–50 mm insulated sandwich panels, insert requirements.


Insulated sandwich panels incorporating two sheets of a minimum 2-mm thick polyester powder coated aluminium sheet to match framing and minimum 24 mm non-combustible foam insulation core.
