Description
Horizontal-pivot windows have a central horizontal rotation axis. They are easy to operate, save space in the interior and have outstanding ventilation properties. The UNITAS hardware series by Gretsch-Unitas can be used for both rectangular and round horizontal-pivot windows with sash weights up to 300 kg. The adjustable turn-brake in the pivot holds the sash securely in any position, while still allowing the window to rotate 180°. Barrier-free solutions, whereby sashes can be moved without using any force, can be implemented, for example, by combining horizontal-pivot hardware with the ELTRAL K35 concealed motor-driven chain drive.
