Application

  • Developed for use in existing buildings or retrofitted to new build projects.
  • The FreeBeams can be integrated into one or more sides of our AlphaRiser CIR system to achieve a solution where one side of the riser opening at floor level has a core wall or other element where casting into a floor slab is not possible or desired.

Description

AlphaRiser Retro-fit is used for existing buildings where the riser void is already present. The Freebeam cassette frame enables a complete unit to be lifted into position with the channel still providing versatility for adjusting the supports to accommodate the positioning of MEP services.

Features and benefits:

  • Create a pre-made cassette that can fix into an existing slab-void that provides a safe working platform from the point of installation.
  • Easy to make adjustments to joist supports to accommodate MEP positioning.
  • The grating and joists are made from GRP providing a strong and lightweight product with many benefits over traditional steel alternatives.
  • No hot works permits required for cutting penetrations through the GRP grating.
