AliDeck XL Decking Board

Aluminium balcony decking with a depth of 60 mm in depth. The XL Board is our largest-spanning board, achieving a huge 1800 mm between supports. It is naturally fire-resistant and non-combustible.

The decking is lightweight yet high in load-bearing capacity and achieves a much greater span than timber or composite decking boards, meaning it requires less underside support or supporting steelwork, thereby significantly reducing costs.

The installation time is up to 50% quicker than other products due to the quick-fit through-the-board fixing, with fixings hidden by our clip-in cover in the board.

Features and benefits:

• Class A2-s1, d0 fire rated, therefore conforms to the UK fire regulations for materials used on the exterior of high-rise buildings.
• Full drainage: The aluminium decking is installed with gaps between the board (spacing recommendation above) to allow the water to drain through, away from the decking, avoiding water laying on the surface.
• They can also be spaced to allow for varying drainage requirements (unlike any other system).
• Constructed from 67% recycled aluminium for strength, longevity, sustainability and minimal maintenance.

• Can cover any size balcony: boards are 175 x 20 mm, however they can be cut to size along the width and fitted together to cover balconies of any size.

• Minimal maintenance required: Aluminium decking does not require special treatments to keep it clean and maintained.
• Will not warp over time: Unlike timber, aluminium does not expand or contract in the heat and wet weather and will not warp, making it last much longer than timber decking, without the need for regular treatments.
• 90% of the deck board can be installed prior to the installation of the balcony if required, saving time.
• No need to drill holes: Can be installed onto existing subframe sections without having to drill additional holes.
