Adjustable height gas-assisted Plus bathroom basin. Complete package PKG-0002

Plus gas-assited wash basin bracket that height adjustable with Matrix Curve wash basin for accessible bathrooms. The package includes the flexible plumbing kit, trap and TMV3 tap.

Features and benefits to gas-assisted bracket:

• Manual, gas-assisted lever operated. No need for electrical connection.
• Can be height adjusted 300 mm from 668 to 968 mm
• The lever control releases the basin to rise automatically. In order to lower the basin bracket, the basin needs to be pushed down manually from the back.
• The lever control is set to the side of the wash basin. The lever control can also be used as a towel rail and can be placed on either the left or right side of the wash basin.

Features and benefits to wash basin:

• MATRIX CURVE ergonomic wash basin, 600 x 490 x 190 mm, with tap hole Ø36 mm and overflow.
• Supplied with drain fitting.
• The concave front edge stabilises standing as well as seated users. The rounded edges are also comfortable to hold and rest against. The flat bottom leaves room for the legs underneath.
• Material: Ceramic.

Features and benefits to tap:

• A TMV3 tap featuring anti scald technology, a safe touch body and a self draining spout. With copper inlet tails. Without drain fitting.

Features and benefits to flexible plumbing kit:

• WRAS approved.
• The flexible feed and waste systems are needed to ensure the flow of water to and from the height adjustable wash basin brackets.
• Feed pipes: 500 mm, waste pipe: 700 mm.
• Feed pipe, metal braid, with 1/2" coupling.
• Flexible waste pipe, dia. 32 mm.
• The UK kit includes right-angled isolating valves that should be connected to the water supply and a Ø40 mm waste connection that will fit to UK plumbing with the aid of a compression fitting (not included).

Product capacity:

• Maximum load: 135 kg.
• Suitable for wash basins weighing no more than 22 kg.
• When the wash basin is loaded with 135 kg, each wall fastener will be carrying 57 kg.
• Wash basin brackets need to be able to carry the weight of the wash basin, as well as support the weight of the person who is leaning against the wash basin or who is using the wash basin to rise from seated position.
• Neither wash basin nor wash basin bracket are intended to carry the full body weight of a person, and the test methods applicable to wash basin brackets reflect this: ISO 17966 prescribes a static test on the front edge of the wash basin at 75% of maximum user weight, i.e. when the maximum load on a wash basin bracket is given as 135 kg and the wash basin weighs 22 kg, it is – according to ISO 17966 – the equivalent of a user weighing 151 kg leaning on the front edge of the wash basin.
