The ACB™ is designed to protect the access control switch in new building developments, which is usually sited externally, in line with Secured by Design guidance.

The Access Control Box (ACB)™ is designed for fire and rescue service use by protecting and and providing access to an access control switch for emergency service personnel to use.
The ACB™ is designed to sit over the switch, it is not supplied with the switch. Details of what is required in relation to the switch is advised in SBD guidance design guide “Homes 2024”.
