The Smart-Ped lock includes four locked corner pieces which can be locked and unlocked with a 3 mm screwdriver. There are three different support heads available: standard with four spacers, with two spacers (edge zone) or with three spacers (stretcher bond).
The system is designed to operate with an adhesive bond between the slabs and pedestals, ensuring a strong surface without mechanical fixings. The system is specifically designed for applications where a non-combustible pedestal is required with the additional benefit of resisting wind uplift as a monolithic system.
