The 30N hanger series can be fitted with a range of springs to suit acoustic and weight requirements. Spring hangers are used to isolate against low frequency noise from sources such as footfalls and mechanical vibration. Mason UK supply springs with a low ratio between height and coil diameter. This ensures that the spring remains stable, regardless of the amount of deflection. They feature a neoprene cup, required to absorb high frequency noise. This extends through the hanger box which ensures that the hanger rod does not contact the hanger box. The 30 series hangers are designed to allow for the rod to swing through an arc of 30 degrees from side to side in any direction before contacting the resilient rubber bushing. These hangers also incorporate a Low Dynamic Stiffness (LDS) rubber element. This part of the hanger isolates effectively against higher frequencies, typically from airborne sources. Hangers are available with load capacities from as low as 5kg, up to 1252kg.
