Description

A smoke curtain barrier designed to control and limit the spread of smoke in the event of a fire. It helps to create clear escape routes and protect occupants by confining smoke to specific areas, enhancing visibility and safety during evacuation. Providing up to two hours of smoke integrity (E).

Features and benefits:

Self-closing.
Tested up to a temperature of 600°C.
Can be specified as fixed or automated to compartment, channel and protect escape routes from smoke.
Can be continuous, with no maximum width, and can be installed discreetly for low headroom requirements.
Maximum height up to 9000 mm.

Curtain: The curtain is manufactured from a woven fibreglass and stainless steel fabric; in many cases this is coated with intumescent silicone. Guide rails: 100 x 50 mm galvanized steel.
