CHAS (Construction Health & Safety Assessment Scheme)

CHAS (The Contractors Health and Safety Assessment Scheme) was created by experienced health and safety professionals in 1997 to improve health and safety standards across the UK.? In partnership with the Association of London Government (ALG), CHAS was a key developer of the core criteria held in the Approved Code of Practice which supported the Construction (Design and Management) Regulations 2007 (now recogonised as CDM 2015) and is a founder member of SSIP (Safety Schemes in Procurement).

Constructionline GOLD certification

Constructionline is a pre-qualification service originally created by the Government to ensure robust checks were made on suppliersof services in the Construction Industry. Constructionline looks at many aspects of members, from their financial status, Health & Safety, Insurance, legal and quality processes. Reflex are proud to have GOLD status due to our commitment to providing quality and safe installations backed up by our attention to detail in our company quality systems.

Sports Flooring

The Reflex Action Flex flooring system is our high performing, low floor height system. It is designed to offer uniform performance across the entire system. The sports parkett is precision machined for Reflex in Sweden and features the Woodlock 5s next generation, unique jointing system. Action Flex is available in a wide variety of timber surface options, to create area elastic sprung floors, with traditional or contemporary aesthetics. The system consists of a technical foam elastic layer , a load distribution board and a high quality engineered, and prefinished, hardwood board surface. The system is fully tested and accredited to the European Wide EN14904 standard - passing the highest A4 category. Available with FSC/PEFC Chain of Custody Certification.

Sports flooring

Reflex Active Floor is our timber sports floor with the absorption material and reinforcements already fitted to the underside of the board to create an all in one solution. This unique system features the Woodloc smart-fit dry jointing system to provide perfect gap free installation between the boards every time. The result is an even surface with optimal shock protection, counteracting injuries when running, landing or falling during intense activity With a finished floor height of just 28mm Reflex Active Flooring is ideal for both refurbishment and new build projects.

Sports Flooring

Multisport engineered timber flooring is widely specified in multi-purpose and sporting facilities. It is durable, dimensionally stable and of course fully tested to the European wide EN14904 standard. Available with extra durable 5.1mm wearing surface, the system can be affixed to our unique understructure products to create fully sprung flooring in a range of heights from 53mm to 150mm.

Sports Flooring

Designed for both large and small facilities ProSport from Reflex Sports is classed an area elastic sports construction. The systems have been tested to the international standard EN14904: 2006 A4 category by the technological institute of Denmark. The product is also marked CE in accordance with the EN14342: 2005+A1:2008 and EN13629 standards. The ProSport range of high performance undercarriage systems delivers performance and strength through improved design. Using the unique flexi clip installation system a low floor height of just 30mm can be achieved. Deformation control battens can be utilized for 50mm floor heights whilst the granulated rubber cradle can accommodate heights up to 150mm and beyond. Cradles can also be used to level an uneven sub floor.

Sports flooring

The Reflex Topsport low floor height system is fast and easy to install. Precision machined for Reflex in Germany using birch plywood with a unique jointing system. In line with our ethical procurement policy and dedication to sustainability, Reflexs birch plywood can be supplied with FSC® (Forest Stewardship Council) Chain of Custody Certification. Our TP joint is 60% stronger than a traditional tongue and groove and does not break down over time. The precise milling ensures that no mechanical fixings are needed within the installation process. In fact - the top surface needs minimal preparation to accept a range of finishing sports coverings.

Sports flooring

Reflex Sports offer fully sprung sports cradle understructure systems for use in conjunction with timber and synthetic surfaces. The unique rubber granulate cradles are formulated with a polyurethane binding agent that creates a component of unrivalled performance and durability. The cradles are designed to be levelled using shims to take out deviations within a sub floor. A range of floor heights are achievable using the system with a comprehensive array of base packers and battens to enable both large and small voids to be accommodated. Sports cradles are tested to the European Wide EN14904 standard for sprung flooring. They are also pass the important peak deceleration criteria outlined in BS7044 part 4. They are fully Sport England compliant.

Sports flooring

The Reflex PU flooring system is ideal for use in todays multi-purpose facilities where sport is played to a high standard and the floor is in constant use. The seamless surface is available in a selection of striking classic and design colours to create a unique aesthetic for every facility. Appearance and performance can be tailored to each project, specifically to meet the clients requirements. Unlike Other synthetic surfaces Polyurethane is a resin that is poured on site with no welds or join marks visible on the finished surface. Furthermore it is completely unique in that the flooring can be sanded and re-poured to create very long life-cycles. We have floors that have been installed for over 40 years and are still performing as the day they were installed.
