Martec have been manufacturing steel communal entrance doors for almost 40 years for the social housing and construction sector. Created in 1996 by Martin McHugh by amalgamating 3 companies.

Today we are still a family owned business by Martin McHugh, with most of our employees enjoying a career of over 10 years.

Martec are based in a 50,000 square foot facility in the outskirts of Glasgow. Right beside the M74 motorway, we have direct links to the UK motorway networks. Giving us the perfect position to serve the UK.

Martec have developed a communal entrance door that not only delivers on security, but also on thermal performance, weather testing and aesthetics for the 21^st century. I’m delighted to say that our newly developed Premier Vision door has passed the Secured by Design STS202 level 2 test. The Premier Vision door is a fully user friendly as a fob access door but is EN179 compliant for escape routes, The Premier Vision door has been tested with a SINGLE PIECE of glass! Meaning that aesthetically, you can have the modern look you require, but with the bonus of security. Martec are also offering this door with a 10–15-year PPC warranty!
