Brewers Fayre/Fun Factory

National pub-restaurant chain, Brewers Fayre, is incorporating two of Forbo Flooring Systems’ high quality floor coverings at the heart of its current refurbishment project to update its children’s play areas. The family dining brand owned and run by Whitbread Hotels and Restaurants has commissioned a bespoke Flotex Vision design inspired by The Beano to create a series of vibrant recreation spaces across the country for its younger guests to enjoy.

Hedley McEwan Office Fit out

When Hedley McEwan decided to refurbish its riverside offices in Newcastle, it required a floor covering that complemented the industrial feel of the building, while providing outstanding acoustic performance. As such, Contents Design specified a variety of products from Forbo Flooring Systems’ wide portfolio to meet the project’s brief.

Products from Forbo Flooring Systems’ Westbond and Tessera carpet tile ranges have helped bring the refurbishment of an old mill in Leeds to life. Created as a base for leading media buying agency MediaCom, the vivid interior design incorporates Forbo’s new Tessera Circulate – a perfect reflection of the client’s forward thinking brand.

NHS Tayside Child and Adolescent Mental Health Unit

Four designs and 8 colourways from Forbo Flooring Systems’ extensive Marmoleum floor collection have created a durable, design-led, resilient surface flooring solution for NHS Tayside’s new Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS) unit. Built in Dundee, the new £8 million facility, will provide round-the-clock care for young people across the north of Scotland coping with mental health conditions.

Temple Carrig School

Inspired by the mountainous views to the west and seaside views to the east, McCarthy O’Hora (MCOH) architects reflected the colours of the natural world that surrounds Temple Carrig School by specifying an array of vibrant shades from Forbo Flooring Systems’ Marmoleum range.

The Kelpies Visitors' Centre

Forbo's Allura luxury vinyl tile range has been used in the visitors' centre of The Kelpies, home to the world largest equine sculptures. Architect Euan McCallum of Nicoll Russell Studios used Allura to to create a pattern which is designed to be reminiscent of the panels on the Kelpies and also have a connection with the granite colours on the external plaza area.

The Urgent Care Centre

David and Kate Simmons, Interior Designer at The Frank Whittle Partnership, created an impressive design for The Urgent Care Centre at Chorley Hospital using several products from Forbo's integrated portfolio which resulted in this being the Highly Commended project for Fly Forbo's 2015/2016 competition.

Yo! Sushi

Forbo Flooring Systems’ design-led luxury vinyl tiles and safety flooring has contributed to the Japanese aesthetic at Leicester’s newly refurbished restaurant YO! Sushi, whilst providing the slip resistance required for a busy restaurant. InnSight Design was tasked to re-design the popular sushi restaurant in order to capitalise on the Japanese theme. As such, the designers created an elaborate city theme, which included the installation of a large digitally printed wall mural of Tokyo at night, alongside Forbo’s Surestep Wood safety flooring, Allura Wood and Allura Safety luxury vinyl tiles.
