Icopal SBR Spray Contact Adhesive

A versatile, high performance industrial contact adhesive designed for use with Icopal single ply fleeceback membranes. The adhesive is water resistant and offers instant adhesion between the membrane and substrate.

The adhesive is for intended for use with Sureplan FPO fleeceback and non-fleeceback membrane, and Monarplan GF fleeceback membrane.

Icopal SF Bitumen Primer

A solvent-free elastomer-bitumen solution designed to clean dusty surfaces and to penetrate and seal porous surfaces to provide a base for improved adhesion of bituminous waterproofing products.

Icopal SF Bitumen Primer can be applied to a range of substrates including brickwork, cementitious substrates, existing asphalt or bitumen membranes, metal and timber.

Drying time is approximately 2-4 hours, depending on the substrate and ambient weather conditions. The primer dries to a tack finish.

Icopal Single Ply Fleeceback Adhesive

A one component polyurethane adhesive which has been formulated for bonding Icopal fleece backed single ply roofing membranes to various substrates such as roof insulation panels. The adhesive is blue/ green in appearance.

Icopal Universal POCB Cold Deck Roofing System

Icopal Universal consists of a POCB (polyolefine copolymerisate binder) reinforced with glass fibre and polyester. The result is a strong, flexible, and extremely stable single layer roof covering that is UV resistant and tough.

Icopal Universal can be applied rapidly to insulation materials, timber, concrete or profiled metal roofs, or to existing bituminous roofing systems. The three variations of Icopal Universal meet a wide range of applications:

  • Icopal Universal - can be mechanically fixed, loose laid and ballasted.
  • Icopal Universal SA - self adhesive membrane making detailing easy and safe.
  • Icopal Universal WS - resistant to root penetration making it ideal for green roof applications.

The system offers fast application time, instant seam strength and reduced impact associated with inclement weather conditions. Icopal Universal POCB membrane is mechanically attached through to the structural deck using Monarplan Tubular Fasteners of appropriate length. The fasteners are required to penetrate through the structural deck with a minimum projection to the underside of 25 mm.

Micoral NB Vapour Control Layer

Since the Micoral NB membrane is adhered, it can provide a weatherproof temporary finish to the roof structure prior to the application of the mechanically fastened insulation and final waterproofing system.

Micoral NB Vapour Control Layer is suitable for use on all types of deck, such as timber, profiled metal, and cementitious substrates.
