12 Arthur Street is a fine example of how a ‘state-of-the-art’
commercial office building can be designed to top international
specifications whilst making a positive contextual contribution to
the urban fabric of London City. The entrance of 12 Arthur Street
had a long history of unreliable suppliers and its entrance doors
were constantly breaking down, cold and draughty.
20 Gresham Street, London

20 Gresham Street occupies a privileged position in the heart of the City, diagonally opposite the City of London’s Guildhall entrance and within minutes of landmark institutions such as the Royal Exchange and the Bank of England.
The Milk Street/Gresham Street corner is highly visible, due to the geography of the street and the placement of neighbouring
buildings. It has a distinctive colouration and its form is curvilinear at roof level.
At ground level, the distinctive double
revolving door design anchors the design and provides an extremely
powerful focal point.
30 Minute Fire Rated Revolving Door. The Heuvel Shopping Mall, The Netherlands

Located in the Centre of Eindhoven, an existing mall takes on an entirely new expression - one which aims to push a complete shopping experience to its visitors.
One of the main challenges was how to create the entrance from the car park to the shopping mall. We needed to meet a 30-minute fireproof door regulation and prevent exhaust air from the car park entering the retail area, so we needed an extremely functional solution. At the same time, the entrance was an opportunity to make an impression on visitors - so a highly aesthetic solution was also required.

Kop van Zuid in Rotterdam, is the prominent location of the World
Port Centre designed by Sir Norman Foster Architects. In collaboration with Bauporte, the architect designed a brand new entrance concept to the building.
The biggest challenge of assignment was that the existing revolving door was out of proportion to the building. It was too low, too wide and looked dated.
Bauporte designed a sleek 5.5 m high revolving door with oblique LED lighting. The TALL door is driven by an overhead drive in the canopy.
6metre High Fully Automatic Pivot Door, Aston Martin/BMW Dealership, Eindhoven

Van Laarhoven BV, authorized BMW and Aston Martin dealer in the Eindhoven region opens their door to the showroom with a bespoke, extreme dimensioned automatic pivot door.
Bauporte Design Entrances designed, manufactured, installed and maintains the 6 meter tall and 2.1 meter wide fully automatic pivot door.
The door is fully made of Stainless Steel and finished with a glass powder bead blasted Stainless Steel sheet. This gives the door a beautiful coloured, 3D look.
A special inground automatic driving
mechanism opens and closes the door safely.

Arion Bank, Iceland. A 6.2m tall revolving door.

south west of the country and with a latitude of 64°8’ N, it is the
world’s northernmost capital of a sovereign state – little wonder
then, that extreme weather conditions are the norm and equally
little wonder that something out of the ordinary was required for
an impressive new entrance to the Arion Banki.
Bespoke All Glass Revolving Doors, The Wallbrook Offices, London

The Wallbrook is a high quality office headquarters building in the heart of London designed by Foster and Partners.
The 3 revolving doors are entirely recessed into the reception area and join the façade only at the front edges, the brief from the architect called for minimal framing to the enclosures to avoid
unnecessary vertical sight lines in the glazing. Bauporte designed and installed 3 Circular Full Vision revolving doors. The doors all feature bespoke curved
walls each formed of a single sheet of glass and single-piece glass ceilings. Semi-automatic in operation with inground heaters.

Bauporte Doors had been asked to develop doors which should be flush with the facade once they are closed. For this building Bauporte developed straight single manual, straight double inground automatic and TALL Curved manual swing doors with special made heavy floor closers.
The Eliminate swing doors are made out of Double Glazed Units,
with the special design that the profile which is normally going
around the glass, has now been put into the spacer of the glass.
Due to this manor of construction the doors can be manufactured up to a height of 5000mm.
Hotel Radisson Blue, Amsterdam

The 4-star superior Radisson Blue Hotel is located right in the centre of Amsterdam. Just a stone’s throw from the famous Amsterdam canals, the design of the facade and entrance had to act as an eyecatcher, but also blend in with its surroundings.
This revolving door is constructed from a welded stainless-steel construction, which is clad with set and rolled aluminium cladding. The rotating part is stable and is composed of a stainless steel shaft (mirror finished) with the door wings suspended from it.
Kennedy Tower Offices, The Netherlands

The large high capacity Royal Prestige revolving door gives access

Our Client Yuanda, found Bauporte Doors Uk Ltd to undertake the full design, manufacture and installation of its requirements.
Bauporte developed a very strong stainless steel framework construction around the door, to support the façade. Something we already have done for Gartner at 20 Gresham street.
With our design the Bauporte doors became an integral part of the structural Yuanda façade.
Mirror Finished Stainless Steel Revolving Door, Hyatt Place Hotel, The Netherlands

Hyatt Place Amsterdam Airport leads the way in renewable energy.
Bauporte was invited to design the revolving door in the hotel.
The Bauporte revolving door had to welcome the guests giving them the feeling of luxury and comfort. The curved glass walls are made from a single sheet of glass. The door leaves are equipped with emergency exit wings that will collapse in case of an emergency evacuation. In the roof an air curtain prevents cold air to cool down the building inside. The doors cladding is
made of a stunning mirror finish stainless steel.
Nostalgia Revolving Door, Hotel Huis ter Duin, The Netherlands

Grand Hotel Huis ter Duin, a 5-star luxury hotel on the Noordwijk coast. This is one of the most luxurious hotels along the Dutch coast.
The main entrance required a major overall to ensure a draft free lobby at the hotel.
The design of the hotel left only one option, a Bauporte Royal Nostalgia revolving door.
The door not only eliminates cold draughts but due to the in floor heater also provides a warm welcome to the guests.
The door leaves also automatically fold open in an emergency to allow the guests to leave the hotel quickly.
Office Forum, The Netherlands

Bauporte was invited to design and create a 7800 mm high TALL revolving door. The upper part was transferred into a magnificent glass lantern with a height of 3400mm. The lower part became
a four winged, automatic revolving door.
Times have changed. Together with new tenants came new demands for the building’s main entrance. The new tenants wanted a completely open entrance, where large groups of people are able to walk straight trough and wheelchairs could have easy access.
The door was adapted to curved sliding design incorporating in floor heaters for comfort.
Offices at Westend Carree, Frankfurt

Where there was once a confusing conglomerate of buildings, today there is a light-flooded, open entrance space, creating a pure and minimal environment. What now appears effortless and simple
is the result of determined work; the main focus in converting the Westend Carree in the heart of Frankfurt was on creating spatial clarity and thus enabling easy orientation. The conversion not only
lives up to its up-market location but also to the high expectations of the tenants.

In the old part of Amstelveen, stemming from the thirties, an office building and a pavilion together form La Bella Donna. The original buildings were designed in the sixties by the architect Webbers.
They are situated on an island surrounded by greenery and water and reachable via a bridge.
The main building has retained its outline. The facade shell has been demolished and redesigned, giving the building a totally different countenance. The serrated facade consists of alternating transparent and opaque panels, which give the building a very dynamic look from all aspects.

The development of the Piet Heinkade east of the Central Station is the backbone of the Southern riverbank of the IJ in Amsterdam.
Here the Central Station connects to the newly developed Eastern and Western Docklands.
The complex consists of three office buildings, where large numbers
of people are employed. The main entrances should be accessible for
various types of users, such as
Disabled persons. Disabled buttons inside and outside operate the door at half speed and adapts to the speed of
the person passing by. Wheelchairs, mobility scooters, disabled on
crutches, can all have a safe and comfortable passage.

Designed by Fletcher Priest Architects, construction of the building began in 2007 and was completed in September 2009. It has 11 storeys and houses 500,000ft² of office space. Watermark Place was developed by City Offices Real Estate (CORE) and funded by

Roche Diagnostics Headquarters, Switzerland

Bauporte designed, manufactured, installed and maintains the 2 fully automatic Circular Full Vision revolving doors. Although the revolving doors are installed within the façade, the design
required the doors to be entirely self supporting and freestanding to allow the façade to deflect as required. The doors are composed of low-iron glass walls, an opal glass ceiling with a minimal framing.
An In-ground Bauporte heater is installed in the floor. The heater prevents cold air entering the building in the winter and is powered by hot water and electricity in extreme weather.
Rolls Royce Headquarters, Buckingham Gate, London

62 Buckingham Gate is an exemplary new building in the heart of
London’s Victoria. A striking structure of tilting planes of glass. Its bold, modern design contains 257,000 sq ft of high spec office space, with new retail and public realm space at ground level.
The building has light-filled, highly efficient floorspaces. By virtue
of its island site, many of the floors have far-reaching views over
London.
Room Mate 5 Star Hotel, Amsterdam

Room Mate Aitana is a modern design hotel. It graciously rests on a man-made island over the IJ River overlooking
Amsterdam’s downtown. The hotel features a yacht dock, 7 meeting rooms and 285 rooms with state of the art equipment and a dashing lounge area to see and be seen. The hotel is decorated by Tomás Alía and named after one of the owner’s children.
Aitana is located in the city’s Business Centre, next to Amsterdam’s
new Justice Palace.

station. Located adjacent to the famous Dam Square in Amsterdam, the entrance has been developed in harmony with the interior design and the historic exterior façade. In addition, this entrance had to
create a unique, inviting look from the outside. In short, the entrance
door should make the connection between inside and outside.
The Full Glass revolving door is constructed from a fully welded stainless-steel construction. It is clad with unique Bauporte Black-end stainless steel cladding.
The Helicon Building, London

Sheppard Robson was commissioned by London & Manchester Assurance to design a landmark building on the corner of Finsbury Pavement and South Place, London. The result is The Helicon, one
of London’s first sustainable buildings to combine retail and offices into a building that is energy-efficient and economical to run.
The office entrance foyer is a double volume space, some 9m high, enclosed externally by a suspended curved steel and glass façade, forming a triple-glazed void.
The offices maximise the available
natural daylight through the use of clear un-tinted glass.

Torre Europa Office Building, Madrid

The 120-meter high Torre Europa is one of the most impressive and tallest buildings in Madrid.
The building was constructed in 1985 and in 2018 it was extensively renovated to become one of the smartest office complexes in the world.
The use of glass has a major part in the new look for this iconic
building. The open and transparent new entrance hall has been built using the very latest glass construction
techniques.
The cube shaped entrance 10x10x12 m is self-supporting through the seamless integration of tall glass panels, and interconnected glass fins and beams.

Unique Revolving Doors Installed At Borse Cube Offices, Eschborn

Bauporte Design Entrances designed, manufactured and installed 3 No fully automatic Circular Prestige revolving doors. Each 4-wing revolving door set has a diameter of 2500mm and a turning height of 3000mm with extended curved
walls and fascia to bring the total height to 6500mm. Although the revolving doors are installed within the façade, the design required the doors to be entirely self supporting and free-standing to allow
the façade to deflect as required. Bauporte ensured the stability of the design and the only contact between the doors and the façade is through
flexible weather seals.
Van Gogh Museum RC2 Burglar Resistant Revolving Doors

In 1999 Kesho Kurokawa Architects & Associates designed a new wing for the Van Gogh Museum in Amsterdam.
The Full Glass revolving doors were designed and built by Bauporte, they are constructed to the RC2 burglar resistance standard and are compliant with EN1627.
The state-of-the-art glass structure complements the curved and elliptical shape of the Kurokawa wing, while connecting it to the original museum building designed by Gerrit Rietveld.
Bauporte was responsible for the technical design, engineering, production, installation and maintenance of the
transparent revolving doors, defining the identity of the transparent entrance building.
