Metalco Caring Island

Caring Island: designed around the connection between adults and children. Holscher Design has developed for Metalco a new type of street furniture “tailored to... adult”: a welcoming oasis for all those adults who are called to take care of the youngest. This project, born from a profitable dialogue with Inglesina, the company that for over 50 years is close to children all over the world, introduces innovative elements that normally would not find space in public places. Circular pavilions, inspired by natural spaces, become real modular equipped areas, equipped with changing tables, benches for breastfeeding, parking for strollers, seats and tables: the ideal place to help adults to be close to children, in maximum comfort and in full sociality.
