This seminar aims to: • Provide a more detailed understanding and appreciation of Structural Insulated Panel building solutions (SIP’s) • Explain and consider how SIP’s/MMC can best support SEN School design. • Explain the financial, environmental and health and safety benefits. • Explain the benefits of speed of construction minimising site and campus disruption. • Show a typical programme through relationship with the RIBA DfMA Stage of Works. • Provide an understanding of the size and capabilities of SIP’s solutions. • Assist in the understanding of costs and how value and effectiveness are achieved. • Show compliance with all related regulations, guidelines and best practices. • Emphasise the flexibility design life and longevity of such building types.
