Acoustic Perimeter Edging Strip

PERIMETER ISOLATION STRIP TO BE USED INCONJUNCTION WITH ALL ACOUSTIC FLOOR TYPES (BATTENS, DECKS, CRADLES, PLATFORM FLOORS) TO MAINTAIN ACOUSTIC INTEGRITY. Perimeter edging strips (also know as Flanking Band) are available in flat or Pre-Formed L Shaped Versions. Flat versions are offered at a thickness of 5mm and either 75mm or 150mm wide (to suit a variety of floor heights) in rolls of 50LM. Pre-Formed L Shaped version is available in a size of 53mm x 23mm x 2LM. Essential ancillary product that must be used with all acoustic floating floors to ensure no direct contact between the floor and walls and skirting boards to maintain full acoustic integrity therefore preventing and eliminating the risk of the flanking transmission of impact noise throughout the construction
