Product description

Pedeck Ali non-combustible decking system is a light-weight, A2fl-s1 and A2-s1,d0 fire-rated system which has been designed with the practicalities of everyday living in mind. Not only does it meet all the safety requirements for high rise balconies, roof terraces and walkways, it is also simple to fit, either on or off site.

The comfort grip boards offer a sleek and modern aesthetic that will add architectural interest to any installation. Whether that’s a compact and bespoke balcony design or large commercial roof terrace.

With board widths of 147 and 295 mm, depths of 20 and 30 mm, 1200 mm maximum load span as well as additional support leg options. Pedeck Ali boards offer faster, more cost-efficient installation.

Pedeck Ali boards are classified as having low slip potential in both wet and dry conditions in accordance with BS 7976-2 Pendulum Slip Test. The boards’ powder coat finish is formulated to provide good contact between footwear or bare feet and the deck surface.

Pedeck Ali has a stylish and smooth finish, so it’s ‘foot-friendly’ to the end user.

Made from 100% recycled aluminium and 100% recyclable at the end of use.

30-year structural performance warranty with an expectancy of 60 years.

PEDECK Ali decking system is fast and easy to install. Extra wide fixing channels allows for face fixing, meaning there’s no need for cumbersome clips.

  • Fire rating (to EN 13501-1:2018): A2-s1,d0 and A2fl-s1.
  • Slip resistance (to BS 7976-2) low slip potential 81 PTV in dry and 55 PTV in wet.
  • Wear resistance: (EN 660-2) excellent resistance to wear
  • Colour - RAL 7016 - Anthracite grey. Other RAL available based on order quantities.
  • Loading capability (to EN 1991-1:2002): Concentrated load: >2.0 kN as standard, available up to 4 kN based on joist spacing.
  • Uniformly distributed: >4.0 kN as standard, available up to >10 kN if required/m².
  • Linear mass:
    • 20 mm depth - 147 mm = 1.57 kg/m 295 mm = 3.82 kg/m.
    • 30 mm depth - 147 mm = 1.77 kg/m 295 mm = 4.21 kg/m.

The Pedeck Ali non-combustible decking system has six main component parts as standard:

Deck Board - Non-combustible aluminium boards with a quick install via the hidden fixing method. Stock lengths and bespoke lengths available. RAL 7016 as standard, other RAL available based on order quantities.

Fixings - Multiple fixings for each part of the system. Either 5.5 x 25 mm or 5.5 x 38 mm for boards into bearers and 4.8 x 19 mm for the universal edge trim. Supplied by Rubbertech on request. Enabling rapid install and minimum hassle. Helping promote efficient drainage across decking area, in line with the BS 8579:2020.

Aluminium Joist - Non-combustible aluminium decking joists are available in two different depths - 25 x 50 x 3 mm / 50 x 50 x 3 mm and come in lengths of 2.5 or 5 m. Specifically designed for Pedeck Ali boards. Whether you are contending with extremely low door thresholds or have the depth of void to accommodate deeper joists with large spans to optimise install speed.

Adjustable Pedestal Joist Support - Non-combustible pedestals, adjust in height to overcome install challenges including sloped areas and low-height build-ups.

Support legs - Non-combustible support legs clip into a 295 ripped board to add edge support on a completed system. They come in multiple length options and are available for 20 and 30 mm-deep boards.

Universal Edge Trim - Non-combustible edge trims create a neat finish to board edges that are open at the end of decking systems. Theses can be used for both 20 and 30 mm depths and also work with both 147 and 295 mm board widths. They come in 4 m lengths as standard.
