Description

Range of pressure independent valves consisting of:

  • Pt40 - pressure independent radiator valve.
  • Rt40 - pressure independent return temperature limiting valve for towel rails.
  • Ft40 - pressure independent and flow limiting balancing cartridge.


Features and benefits:

  • Pressure fluctuations due to varying load conditions require a constant automatic balancing to maintain a comfortable and efficient heating system.
  • Pre-settable - with a simple setting scale (1-7), the Pt40, Rt40 and Ft40 can permanently and reliably control the heat delivered to individual radiators, towel rails and UFH loops. 
  • From reducing energy waste, improving the efficiency of the heat plant, lowering heating bills and reducing set-up and commissioning time, the Pt40 offers 12-15% energy saving compared with traditional TRVs.
  • The RA2000 gas sensor on the Pt40 is the fastest reacting TRV available. This results in additional energy savings of 5-8% when compared with liquid-filled thermostatic sensor heads.
  • Rt40 has a 40°C maximum return temperature limiting, protect the network’s performance without compromising the comfort of occupants.
  • Settings schedules - equipped with a clear Pt40, Rt40, Ft40, flow setting schedules for each, radiator, manifold and loop, eliminate user setting variation and for UFH, error from traditional glass pre-setters.
