Description
SpeedStile FP (550 mm clear opening) and SpeedStile FPW (900 mm clear opening) cabinets are award-winning designs in the Gunnebo security product range.
Features and benefits:
- Colour option finishing or all stainless steel cabinets are available.
- Passage in both directions is electronically controlled.
- SpeedStile FP/ FPW includes long cabinet version Normally Open (N/O) mode or short cabinet version Normally Closed (N/C) mode.
- In N/O the SpeedStile provides an open walkway in rest position and will only close at unauthorized entry or tailgating attempts. This gives an increased Main Cycles Before Failure (MCBF).
- In N/C the SpeedStile FP/ FPW provides a closed walkway opening on acceptance of an authorized signal. On receiving a signal from the access control system, the wings open. If an unauthorized person tries to tailgate or attempts to enter from the opposite direction, the system detects the unauthorized passage and activates the in-built alarm system.
- Presence sensing is achieved by six infrared sensors for the short cabinet (N/C) and 14 for the long cabinet (either N/C or N/O). SpeedStile FPW can be used to prevent issues of restricted access to wheelchair users.
- SpeedStile FP/ FPW has an option of fail-safe opening i.e. the wings will drive open automatically on power failure and remain open until the power is restored.
