Description

LEC Mezzanine Floor is part of Kingspan Insulated Panels, Lower Embodied Carbon solutions.

LEC has an LCA (LifeCycle Assessment) that shows a 66% reduction in embodied carbon (measured by the Global Warming Potential ‘GWP’ kgCO2e) between life cycle modules A1–A3, and a 63% reduction in embodied carbon between life cycle modules A–C.

The reduction percentage is created by comparing standard KS Sigma Profile with KS Sigma Profile LEC to the EN15804-A2 standard and comparing standard KC C Section Profile with KC C Section profile LEC to the EN 15804, A2 standard.

Features and benefits:

  • Standard range of web depths from 150–250 mm in 5 depth increments (C-section).
  • Standard range of web depths from 150–300 mm in 6 depth increments (Sigma).
  • Available flange sizes of 63.5–70 mm depending on depth (C-section).
  • Available flange sizes of 70–100 mm depending on depth (Sigma).
  • Incremental material gauges available from 1.2–2.6 mm depending on depth for efficient solutions (C-section).
  • Incremental material gauges available from 1.2–2.4 mm depending on depth for efficient solutions (Sigma).
  • Compatible with the standard range of profiled cleats sharing common depth and hole punching (C-section).
  • Gives positive clamping effect and improved performance (Sigma).
  • Standard 14 mm and 18 mm hole patterns depending on depth (Sigma and C-section).
