PVC-U flush tilt-turn windows with six chambered 70 mm sash and five chambered 86 mm outer frame.

Features and benefits:

• The tilt before turn operation provides improved safety and the ability to carry out cleaning without risk – a vital consideration in high-rise applications.
• Restrictors can be fitted for extra safety in medium–high rise buildings.
• In the tilt mode the window offers secure ventilation, an important factor in ground floor installations.
• The tilt–turn gearing prevents selection from tilt to turn, while in tilt mode and vice versa.
• Anti-slam is fitted as standard and the gearing is concealed for improved aesthetics.
• Windows are fabricated to BS 7412 and profiles carry the BSI Kitemark.
• Specific members are reinforced with Recycled Composite Material (RCM) or galvanized carbon steel sections to BS EN 10142:2000, sealed within the profile central cavity.
• The window opening up to 2300 x 1450 mm maximum, allows for a generous flood of natural light and ventilation into the building.

Glazing:

• Double or triple glazing to BS 6262 can be supplied, using 28, 40 or 44 mm insulated sealed units, depending on thermal and acoustic requirements - glazing units to BS EN 1279.
• Post co-extruded glazing beads are provided internally.

Hardware:

• Safeware hardware backed by Secured By Design, the official Police Security Initiative.
• Bichromate finished steel multi-point locking operation around the sash.
• Anti-switch barrier - to prevent selection from tilt to turn, while in the tilt mode and vice-versa.
• Locking handles are available in a variety of finishes.
• All hardware meets the requirements of BS 7412.
• Windows fitted with high security hardware meet the requirements of PAS24.
