Heat detection suitable for all building types
The Series 200 Advanced range incorporates the digital Series 200 Advanced Protocol, supporting increased device capacity per loop with extended control, configurability, and device management. The 52051E and 52051HTE are fixed-temperature analogue addressable sensors that use low-mass thermistors and microprocessor technology for fast response and linear temperature sensing, operating across 58°C (Class A1S) to 78°C (Class BS). The 52051RE employs the same thermistor and microprocessor design but operates as a rate-of-rise detector, providing an alarm when the temperature increase exceeds 10°C/minute (typical) or when the threshold of 58°C is exceeded (Class A1R). Through the Series 200 Advanced Protocol, all models can be software-configured as fixed 58°C, fixed 78°C, or 58°C with rate-of-rise, while individual versions remain available for backwards compatibility and approvals. Sensitivity thresholds can be controlled via the panel, allowing adjustment to suit changing conditions. Each detector includes two integral tri-colour LEDs that provide 360° local visual indication, programmable for static or pulsing red, amber, or green signals. All Series 200 Advanced detectors comply with WEEE and RoHS requirements and are mechanically and electrically backwards compatible with Series 200 plus devices.
