Application

Knauf Hugo & FHB18 offers a low embodied carbon solution when there is a requirement to overlay traditional steel encapsulated raised access floors.

It accepts a wide range of finishes directly, without the need for a de-coupling layer.

Suitable for finishes such as:

  • ceramics
  • porcelain
  • micro-cement
  • screed
  • vinyl
  • linoleum & more

Knauf Hugo is available in 18 or 23mm thickness. Hugo offers a density of 1100kg/m3. Suitable for general pedestrian / foot traffic areas.

FHB18 provides a higher density and improved structural loading at 1500kg/m3.

Knauf WF - a 10mm wood fibre acoustic resilient board is available as a loose lay board to be installed beneath the Hugo or FHB to provide an acoustically rated overlay to raised access floor option. Achieving an impact sound reduction of 21dB

Description

Knauf GifaFloor Hugo & FHB18 is a high performance, dry screed panel manufactured using low carbon gypsum fibreboard. Quick and easy to install, GifaFloor is a lightweight but high density screed panel with an advanced tongue and groove joint.

Ideal when overlaying an existing Raised Access Floor to apply a hard or continuous finish
