Application

Head restraint can be installed at 450 or 900 mm horizontal centres to suit different load requirements and to suit projections up to 100 mm.

Description

Stainless steel head restraint comprising of tie component (IHR-H or IHR-L) and stem component, restraining the top of non-load bearing walls to the underside of a concrete or steel structure. The Tie section is free to move vertically within the Stem, allowing for vertical deflection, to help prevent cracking.

Features and benefits:

  • Designed in accordance with PD 6697:2019.
  • UKCA accredited.
  • Manufactured from grade 304 austenitic stainless steel (grade 316 available on request).
  • Designed to suit standard 215 mm blockwork.
  • Projection markings on tie section to aid installation.
  • Available to suit 140 mm cut blocks if required.
