The system is suitable for domestic and commercial applications.  

Rails can be used on their own or combined with height adjustable pedestals, with possible sub-frame heights from 12 mm to 426 mm (note this does not include the depth of the finish, which will differ according to which variant is chosen). 

The system is also available as cladding for walls (external and internal), ceilings, fences etc. for a seamless look.

Supplied as individual components or as a complete system of pedestals, rails, and boards, Grad is an efficient and economical choice for decked areas of any size. 

The distinctive patented clip system at the heart of the Grad system means that decks can be installed up to 50% faster than traditional methods.

The Grad clips come pre-mounted on aluminium rails ensuring perfect board alignment and gaps between boards. Adjustable pedestals and a choice of joists mean that project-specific requirements are easily met, with a range of edging accessories that mean fascias look just as good as the rest of the deck.

Once installed, a Grad deck will resist 300 kgs of uplift, however, individual boards can be easily removed without any damage to themselves or surrounding boards (a common issue with other hidden-fix systems). 

Sub-frame:

The sub-frame consists of rails, supplied with factory-placed clips, which attach easily to the heads of the height-adjustable pedestals. There are four heights of rail (18, 30, 45 and 62 mm, including the 6mm clip) and eight models of pedestals (which achieve heights of 35–370 mm).

Rails can be used on their own directly on to an appropriate concrete base, or on to joists.

This gives architects and specifiers a wide choice of finishes for external flooring projects, including Class B fire-rated options. The boards are supplied pre-grooved and are protected by long warranties.

The pedestal and clips are made of 100% recycled and recyclable material, aluminium is endlessly recyclable, and most timbers are available as an FSC certified product. Protected by long warranties, the Grad system is designed to last a lifetime.
