Description

SLIPFAST® is a clay brick cladding system that offers the timeless appearance of fired clay brick, while its innovative design means it is rapid to install, and durable enough to stand the test of time. It has been designed to provide a flexible approach to system build-up on timber or metal framed structures. The system is KIWA BDA Certified and CWCT tested.

Features and benefits:

  • Mechanical brick-slip system.
  • Lightweight and fast to install.
  • Cost-effective.
  • Available in a range of colours.
  • Core mechanical components are manufactured from stainless steel.
  • Brick slips are manufactured to BS EN 771-1 using traditional British firing methods using locally sourced clays.
  • Flexible design features allow simple detailing at building headers, corners and openings.
  • Can be fixed back to the primary structure in varying ways.
  • Supplied direct with pre-installed rails, ready to receive pre-formed clay brick-slips that are pointed on site so no adhesive is required.
  • Two systems available, offering A1 or A2 fire classification (to BS-EN-1350), depending on system configuration.
  • Certified system life of in excess of 60 years.
  • KIWA BDA Certified and Centre for Window and Cladding Technology (CWCT) tested.

System 1 - Timber battens or 35 mm galvanized steel top-hat profiles:

  • A2 fire rated.
  • Fixed at no greater than 600 mm centres.
  • The option to fix back to a suitable RCM sheathing board if stud locations do not allow panel sizes to align.

System 2 - Allface aluminium support frame:

  • A1 fire rated.
  • Fixed back to Allface Support Frame and provides the system with an extensive range of cavity depth variables.
