Description

Maintenance Paths

Safe maintenance paths clearly marked with REGUPOL Walkway

REGUPOL Walkway elastic roof and paving tiles are used to mark maintenance paths on flat roofs, while simultaneously protecting the waterproofing system. They are used on solar, RLT, lightning protection or any other technical installations that require regular maintenance.

Thanks to a simple dowel plug-in system, the walkway tiles are easy to install and ready for use immediately.

Walkway is flame-retardant is resistant to flying sparks and radiant heat, in accordance with DIN CEN/TS 1187:2012-03.

The roof and walkway panels are available in the standard colours of black and red, as well as the special colour green. This visual contrast to the roof sealing means they can also mark the maintenance paths very clearly, even when visibility is poor.

In wet conditions, REGUPOL Walkway allows good drainage and is non-slip.

It is classified as a "hard roofing" in accordance with abP P-MPA-E-21-507.

The REGUPOL Walkway Alu version has an aluminium lamination on the underside which prevents plasticiser migration in waterproofing systems that are not rubber compatible.

The material composition of up to 95 % recycled rubber material is active sustainability and a real-life example of the circular economy in building products.

That is why REGUPOL was awarded the Environmental Economy Prize.NRW in 2020 and the Efficiency Prize NRW in 2021.

The products are developed and intended for the application described here. Use of the product for other purposes may lead to safety issues.

Product Variants

Walkway Standard:

Safe paths on flat roofs

REGUPOL Walkway Standard, the elastic roof and paving tiles for building and marking maintenance routes on flat roofs and protection from the sealing system according to DIN 18531.

The material is fire retardant, drainable, highly visible and slip-resistant when wet with general appraisal certificate for fire class Broof(T1), so called 'hard roof' by its fire-retardant finish.

The elastic roof and walkway tiles are used for maintenance paths on flat roofs with photovoltaic, solar, antenna or other technical installations.

As a protective membrane, the dense, viscoplastic material protects the waterproofing from damage.

A simple dowel plug-in system makes the panels easy to lay and connect to form homogenous surfaces or maintenance paths that are ready for use immediately.

The material is flame retardant and, when laid over the entire surface, is classified as "hard roofing" with its Broof(T1) classification in accordance with DIN EN 13501-5.

Walkway Standard is resistant to flying sparks and radiant heat and reduces the fire load on flat roofs – as attested by the general building authority approval certificate P-MPA-E-21-507.

The available colours red, black and green clearly mark the maintenance paths even in poor visibility. Their undersides have criss-crossing drainage grooves so that they can be laid in any position relative to the direction of slope.

Tiles can be laid directly on bituminous membranes, though an additional aluminium lamination is required with some plastic waterproofing (PVC-soft).

Our tiles consist of up to 95 percent PUR-bonded, recovered and recycled rubber granules and is therefore a perfect example of the circular economy, or upcycling, in practice.

Walkway Alu:

Universal maintenance walkway for all waterproofing systems

REGUPOL Walkway Alu, the elastic roof and paving tiles for building and marking maintenance routes on flat roofs and protection from the sealing system according to DIN 18531.

An aluminium-laminated backing prevents plasticiser migration for compatibility with all commercial sealing systems.

Walkway Alu is a roof and walkway tile with an aluminium Triplex foil laminated onto the underside, which has been used successfully on flat roofs in maintenance walkways for photovoltaic, solar, antenna and other technical facilities for many years.

As a protective membrane, the dense, viscoplastic material texture protects the waterproofing in accordance with DIN 18531 and the German flat roof guidelines. At the same time, its low tare weight often eliminates the need for static considerations for retrospective installation.

The Alu-Triplex foil prevents plasticiser migration with waterproofing systems that are not rubber-compatible.

Thanks to a simple plug-in dowel system, the walkway tiles can be laid easily as maintenance paths or homogenous surfaces and are ready for use immediately.

The material has a flame-retardant finish. This means that it meets fire class standard Broof(T1) in accordance with DIN EN 13501-5, is resistant to flying sparks and radiant heat in accordance with DIN CEN/TS 1187, and is classified as "hard roofing" in accordance with abP P-MPA-E-21-507.

The walkway tiles are available in red, black and green and clearly mark the maintenance paths even in poor visibility.

Walkway Alu is pressure-resistant, permanently elastic, temperature-resistant, resistant to ageing and rot-proof. It is also antistatic, in accordance with EN 1815.

The protective layer consists of up to 95 percent PUR-bonded, recovered and recycled rubber granulates and is therefore a perfect example of the circular economy, or upcycling, in practice.
