The 22051TE is intended for use with Series 200 Advanced Protocol systems for point detection in building fire detection and alarm installations.
The 22051TE is intended for use with Series 200 Advanced Protocol systems for point detection in building fire detection and alarm installations.
The Series 200 Advanced range incorporates the digital Series 200 Advanced Protocol, supporting increased device capacity per loop with extended control, configurability, and device management.
The 22051TE photo-thermal detector combines a photoelectric smoke sensor with thermal detection to improve false alarm immunity and provide faster response to a wide range of fire conditions. The plug-in unit integrates two sensing elements managed by embedded software operating as a single device.
The 22051TE conforms to EN 54-5, with a 58°C fixed temperature and rate-of-rise thermal function, and the smoke sensing element conforms to EN 54-7. The thermal function uses thermistor technology with software-corrected linear response. The detector can be configured to operate in heat-only mode during occupied periods where smoke may cause unwanted alarms, reverting automatically to full photo-thermal operation in unoccupied periods. Sensitivity thresholds for each sensing element are adjustable via the control panel to support changes in protected area usage. Two integral tri-colour LEDs provide 360° visual status indication with programmable static or pulsing red, amber, and green signals. All Series 200 Advanced detectors comply with WEEE and RoHS requirements and are mechanically and electrically backwards compatible with Series 200 plus devices.
