Description
A rigid extruded polystyrene (XPS) board for use in inverted and green roofs.
Features and benefits:
- Excellent thermal performance.
- 15 mm lap joint.
- High compressive strength.
- Highly resistant to water absorption.
- Able to resist repeated freeze/thaw cycles.
- Lightweight and easy to install.
- Tough and durable, not easily damaged.
- Dimensionally stable.
- Thermal performance of an inverted roof is improved when used in conjunction with Polyfoam Slimline Zero Membrane (specified separately).
- Has a low Global Warming Potential (GWP) of less than five and zero Ozone Depletion Potential (ODP).
Technical characteristics:
- Vapour resistivity: The XPS content of Polyfoam Roofboard Extra has a water vapour resistivity of 625 MNs/g·m when tested in accordance with EN 12086.
- Moisture absorption: 0.7% by volume when tested in accordance with EN 12087.
- Durability: Continuous service temperature limits up to +70ºC.
