Description

The Firefighter Access Switch (GFS)™ enhances security for building entrances, prioritising the Fire and Rescue Service (FRS). Traditionally, the FRS used ‘drop keys’ for access, but security has weakened as these keys became are widely available to unauthorised users. This can lead to a poor access management and in some instances anti-social behaviour. Gerda Security Products innovated the (GFS)™ to counter this problem.

The Firefighter Access Switch (GFS)™ enables housing providers to re-gain control of access and security of their buildings, whilst maintaining 24/7 access to the Fire & Rescue Service in the event of an emergency.

The Firefighter Access Switch (GFS)™ is flush or surface mounted and operates through activation of the GSP One Key® System used by the Fire & Rescue Service.
