For timber frame wall and light steel frame applications.

Description

Proctorwrap and Proctorwrap Reflect are vapour-permeable membranes for use in timber frame wall and light steel frame applications.

Proctorwrap is a spun-bonded polypropylene film laminate material. Applied in the factory during manufacture or on site, it protects timber frames during construction against wind-driven rain, snow and dust. Once completed, the high water vapour permeability of Proctorwrap allows the controlled escape of vapour from within the timber frame whilst restricting the ingress of rain and moisture. Proctorwraps’ vapour resistance of Sd 0.02 m is less than the maximum permitted in NHBC requirements. Proctorwrap is suitable for use in exposed areas such as coastal areas due to its increased W1 resistance.

Proctorwrap Reflect is a vapour permeable low-emissivity membrane specifically designed to enhance the thermal performance of timber and steel frame structures. Proctorwrap Reflect is a non-woven polypropylene foil laminate, that provides breathability, as well as secondary protection to the building during construction. The product is installed on the external face of the timber frame, foil side out. Proctorwrap Reflect complies with the vapour resistance requirements set out by TRADA and the NHBC.
