Description
Wind posts designed to span vertically between floors to provide lateral support for panels of brickwork. The wind posts will usually be restrained by the brickwork and designed as simply supported beams with a maximum deflection of span/ 360.
Connections:
- The choice of fixing and its position are dependent on the type and length of the wind post and the structure.
- Ancon will design fixing details for the top and base of each wind post and a drawing will be issued for approval prior to manufacture.
