Wraptite UV

Summary
Low-resistance vapour permeable air barrier membrane for wall and roof applications.
Low-resistance vapour permeable air barrier membrane for wall and roof applications.
Application

Can be used in conjunction with Wraptite Tape to provide a simplified and robust method of achieving low air leakage rates, particularly when installed on site, as is typical with large scale rainscreen construction, or when sealing junctions between prefabricated building components.

Description

A low-resistance vapour permeable air barrier wall underlay, which is durable, flexible and lightweight, allowing for easy installation. It offers temporary protection against wind-driven rain, snow and dust.

Wraptite UV has exceptional water resistance and UV resistance to provide a 'shadow' appearance within open rainscreen façades. Manufactured from polyester and a functional coating, with a proprietary acrylic moisture vapour permeable adhesive and silicone-coated PET release liner.

Features and benefits:

  • Airtight yet vapour permeable.
  • No primer required.
  • Tough facer laminate resists punctures and tears during construction.
  • Lightweight and easy to install.
  • Wide service temperature range.
  • Can be left exposed for up to 120 days during construction. No VOCs.
  • UKCA marked.
