Description

Steel profiled roof decking, developed to optimize the designer's needs for efficiency, aesthetics and structural performance alongside high strength and span capability.

Features and benefits:

  • Subject to satisfactory fixings, the decks will resist wind uplift to at least 1.50 kN/m² to a deflection limit of L/150.
  • Load/ span tables are calculated to Eurocode 3 and based on a combined imposed load of 1.50 kN/m², a construction line load of 1.5 kN/m and a deflection limit of L/200. The factor of safety used is 1.5 for live load and 1.35 for dead load.
  • Loss Prevention Certification Board (LPCB) LPS 1181-1 approved.
  • CE marked (2273-CPR-0036).
  • FM approved (0.9 and 1.2 mm galvanized Shotton made RoofDek. 3055902).

RoofDek trapezoidal profiles D32S to D60:

  • Self-curving, within defined radius limits down to 40 m (see technical literature for further details).
  • Can be supplied crimp curved down to 400 mm radium. Maximum 5 m length, with a minimum straight 200 mm lead in and lead out legs.
  • Maximum cantilevers assume 0.9 kN point load on the end, with the adjacent span being the single span as shown in the load/span table separately. The end of the cantilever must be stiffened with an angle flashing.

RoofDek trapezoidal profiles D100 to D210:

Sheet lengths in excess of 12 m are not practical for installation on-site and may also be subject to delivery restrictions. Extended end laps can be used to create a double span whilst keeping the deck length to a minimum. If a deck length in excess of 12 m is required, consult the manufacturer.

RoofDek liner tray profiles HLT90/600 to HLT145/600:

Structural liner trays provide a neat planar inner surface spanning across the main steels and obviate the need for purlins or cladding rails. They are suitable for both roof and wall cladding.

Sheet lengths in excess of 12 m are not practical for installation on-site and extended end laps cannot be used with liner trays, so double spans are limited to 6 m.

Depth of deck:

The profile reference indicates the depth of the deck, e.g. D100 = 100 mm deep.

Fire performance:

  • Reaction to fire performance: Dependent upon pre-finished steel product up to A1 rating to BS EN 13501-1 (considered non-combustible).
  • Ratings for exposure and penetration to fire, dependent on build-up above deck.

Finish:

- Colorcoat HPS200 Ultra®:

Recommended for applications in indoor ambience category A3, A4 and A5. Refer to Tata Steel Colorcoat HPS200 Ultra® technical brochure for further information.
