Description
The SC joint cover has been designed to accommodate movement requirements in vertical exterior wall applications where weather protection and water-tightness are paramount.
This cover comprises a continuous aluminium frame, a concertina-type Santoprene™ primary gasket and a secondary PVC gasket.
Heat-welded weather-tight transitions are available if required.
Features and benefits:
- Joint width: up to 150 mm.
- Horizontal movement: up to +150/-90 mm.
- Vertical movement: up to ±20 mm.
- Lateral movement: up to ±6 mm.
- Fixings (by others) to suit substrate at 450 mm centres.
- Primary gasket contains UV inhibitors to prevent embrittlement and minimise fading.
- No exposed fasteners.
- A secondary PVC gasket acts as a Moisture Barrier.
- Frame are designed to attach to most exterior finishes.
